Storage by Price is an independently operated price comparison directory for self-storage. It is not owned by, affiliated with, or paid by any of the operators it lists.
The online rate a renter is charged today, taken from the operator's own booking page. It is not a lead-gen estimate and not a walk-in counter price.
Move-in offers are printed next to the rate in the operator's own words, because a first-month promotion and an ongoing rate are worth very different amounts.
Every listing links straight to the operator's own page. We take no bookings, capture no leads, and sell no placement.

Where these prices come from
Every price on this site is an online rate. That is the price you'd pay by reserving directly on the operator's own website, not a promotional teaser or an in-store-only quote. Our scrapers collect those rates once a week from Public Storage, Extra Space (which now includes Life Storage locations), CubeSmart, and U-Haul. Independent facilities that don't publish pricing online are listed too, marked "Call for price" so you can see them without us inventing a number. Each city page shows the date its prices were last checked, and any price we can't confirm is recent is labeled as approximate rather than presented as current.
What we don't do
We don't sell placement. No operator can pay to rank higher here, and there are no featured listings. We don't collect your email, phone number, or anything else to show you a price; there's no account and no quote form. When you find a unit you want, you book it on the operator's own site, not through us.
